December 2017: Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp, Serengeti, Tanzania

The latest opening from Sanctuary Escapes, Kichakani translates from Swahili as ‘in the bush’; this extraordinary new camp will move between three locations in the Serengeti, allowing guests to intimately trace the movement of more than a million wildebeest and zebra during the annual migration cycle. The camp will combine 10 five-star tents – each with its own wooden deck – in a characterful style echoing the pioneering explorers of the 19th century.

December 2017: Qorokwe, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Qorokwe Camp by Wilderness Safaris is set at the heart of Botswana’s Qorokwe Concession, a 64,000-acre high-density game area of the Okavango Delta. January 2018: Uncharted Expedition Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Far in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta, the Unchartered Expedition Camp will change the way that travellers can experience Botswana; a semi-permanent mobile construction, the camp can be booked by individual guests or couples, or as an exclusive use property. April 2018: Sossus Under Canvas, Namib Desert, Namibia

Summer 2018: Mogundala Private Island, Mozambique
